Let one of our animals steal your heart!

Sasha is a 10 year old Squirrel Monkey.  She was my first monkey and started this whole crazy life.  She was unfortunately beat up by her troop and I brought her home to nurse her back to health.  After about a month I took her back and the same thing happened again so she couldn't be put back with her troop.  This is when I became a monkey mom.  Sasha is a sweet girl and has been a foster mom to two other baby squirrel monkeys that have now moved on from her but now she is a momma again to AJ and Benson.  Sasha loves mealworms and superworms.

This is my sweet girl, AJ.  Unfortunately her momma passed away within a few days of giving birth so I brought this angel home with me.  She has been the best monkey girl ever.  AJ is a thumb sucker and it's super cute.  Her middle name is Wake because when she was a baby she would only cry when she was hungry and it sounded like she was saying "I'm awake, I'm awake" so her name became AJ Wake.  

Say hello to Benson!  He and AJ are paired together.  Benson is a very high energy boy and loves to grab everything around him.  He and AJ are housed with Sasha.  Benson was quite scared of us when he arrived but he is learning to love us..  

Ellenor is a Debrazza monkey.  Her birthday is Oct 8, 2022.  Her favorite food is blueberries.  She has cheek pouches that allow her to store food.  DeBrazza monkeys have a white muzzle and beard.  As Ellenor gets old her appearance will change.  She is a big momma's girl.  She is scared of most people but loves her big brother Oliver (Capuchin) and they play together everyday.  

Oliver is a  5 year old White Fronted Capuchin.  He has been with us since he was 2 months old.  We have watched him grow with all his craziness but this monkey is our Baby Boy!  His favorite things to do is make lots of noise and smash things.  Oliver is a Lady's Man and likes to flirt with the girls.  He will turn himself upside and roll around on the floor to get  your attention. He is quite the character and loves to give hugs.  Oliver's favorite snacks are Sugar Snap Peas and spray whip from the can.  

Rocky came to us 3 years ago and was a pretty sweet guy but as time has gone by he has decided that he wants to be the alfa of his troop, which only contained himself at the time, so we let him.  He is a big boy and is super strong.  Rocky gets pretty excited and makes lots of crazy noises.  We have learned in the time he has been here whether he is excited or mad.  Rocky's favorite thing to eat are grapes, watermelon, rice cakes, and baby puffs.  Recently Rocky just got a girlfriend and they are getting a long great.  We are so happy to be able to give him another monkey to interact with every day.  Oliver use to go and play with Rocky but now that Rocky has a girlfriend, they are their own troop.    

Adriin is a 4 year old Black Cap Capuchin.  She just joined Rocky a few months ago and they are getting along fabulously.  She is a pretty petite girl and is still leery of us but she is learning that we love her and will keep her safe and healthy.  Adriin's favorite treats are cheese and popcorn.  

Willow is an Albino Wallaby.  She has pink eyes and sometimes that freaks people out but she a super sweet girl and still loves to get in her bag that mimics her mother's pouch for comfort.  Her favorite treats are almonds and Triscuits.  You will find her basking in the sun or on her sleeping cot in the ac getting her beauty rest.  She is my Princess.  

Samson is a Red Kangaroo.  He is a funny guy and very playful.  He has no idea how big he really is and wants to play like a dog.  He will follow you all around and grab anything in your hands.  Samson and Gnocchi, the dog, are good friends and chase each other around the yard.  He sleeps next to Nelson, the duck.  I guess basically he has no idea he is a Roo.
